A Titan 18 AA Mothers Story to Coaches
Last night, as you may know even if you weren't there, our boys lost their final game keeping them out of the playoffs. I don't think that any of them expected it, but the locker room was an emotional mess afterward - all of the boys crying, saying the most amazing things to each other, the coaches emotional as well. My kid came home wiped out with a stunned feeling that he's finished. Most of these boys have played together for YEARS - since inhouse mites! - and now, they are done and most of them are aged out or else moving on to college - quite simply, they will never play travel hockey again. How did this happen? I blinked and it got here.

I'm reflecting this morning that EVERY drive to some s**thole backwater place, EVERY day of school missed to fly off to some tournament, EVERY early morning practice was worth it. I NEVER doubt that. It was all a such gift. Watching my son play hockey with his friends was some of the very best moments of my life. I can't believe it's over.

So I want to thank you, so very much, for all your efforts and time on behalf of these kids and what it has done for them. It is appreciated so very, very much.
